March 27, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Our compatriots need us! On the eve of the Armenian Genocide centennial, our fellow Armenians in Syria are caught in the worst conflict our nation has faced since the atrocities of 1915.

As part of our ongoing campaign in support of the Armenians of Syria, the Armenian Cultural Association of Ottawa (ACAO) has invited two expert guest speakers, Mr. Jean Halajian and Ms. Ruby Dagher to share their knowledge of the current situation of the region.

Mr. Jean Halajian is director of the Canadian Coalition for the Support of the Armenians of Syria.

Ms. Ruby Dagher is a specialist on the Syrian conflict and a lecturer at Ottawa and Carleton universities.

The evening will include a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims, and a musical presentation will be dedicated to their memory. Ms. Anna Bedrossian and Mr. John Sarkissian will be the performers of the evening.

The event which is kindly hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Armen Yeganian will take place on Friday, March 27th at 6:30 pm. at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, 7 Delaware Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

A wine and cheese reception will follow.
